We are a local church here in Chicago Heights that has had the privilege of serving the Chicago Heights and surrounding communities for a little over 12 years now. Our church family is made up Spanish-speakers and English-speakers, parents and children, and the young and the old. In short, a wide mix of people we get to call our church family. We believe that guiding families and people alongside Jesus and his truth will always be a win for our city – healthier people = a healthier city!
One of the ways we seek to change to city is by investing in our youth, teens, and young adults. Through our Sunday and weekly programming, we are able to speak about healthy relationships, managing emotions, what it looks like to dream and aspire and so much more. We also host music classes and invite them to serve through a variety of ministries, all the while encouraging them to be a servant in our community.

Recently, we’ve begun to outgrow our spaces – and while this is a blessing, we are in need of new spaces. Our goal is to build two new rooms and provide more teaching materials for our Sunday school teachers and music teachers. This is no small task and we are faithfully inviting our community to consider supporting this next effort to support the youth of our community.
